The AI Change Crisis
When technology outruns the enterprise
Date: Wednesday, December 2, 2026Time: 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM ETVenue: The Langham, New York

The Conversation
The AI investment is made. Now the enterprise has to catch up.
Enterprises have spent heavily putting AI into the hands of their workforce. Now comes the uncomfortable question: is it actually changing how the enterprise works?
Buying the technology was the easy part. Getting thousands of employees to use it well, redesigning work around it, building new capabilities and turning adoption into measurable value is proving much harder. Communications, training and adoption campaigns are not enough when the technology, the work and the skills are all evolving at once.
This invitation-only HFS Research roundtable, produced in collaboration with Infosys Consulting, brings together C-level transformation leaders to explore how the workforce needs to evolve as AI scales across the organization. The next billion dollars of AI value won't come from buying more AI, but from changing the enterprise around what you've already bought.
Key Discussion Themes
What we will explore
The adoption gap
Why employees aren't using the AI already bought, and whether that is a people problem, a capability problem or a sign the work hasn't been redesigned.
Training vs. changing work
Why generic AI literacy isn't translating into role-level capability and productivity.
When AI changes the job
Rethinking workflows, roles, skills and human-AI delivery together.
Change that never stops
Moving from one-off change programs to continuous sensing, learning and intervention.
Proving AI ROI
Connecting adoption and behavior change to the business outcomes behind the original AI investment.
